Eran Modan death video has come out. It shows that he tried to exit a stalled elevator and was killed and found dead after it moved when he was climbing out.

Eran is a 37-year-old Israeli man who used to live in Queens, New York.

How Did Eran Modan Die?

Eran Modan died of an elevator fall.

At around 4 a.m. on Friday, October 2nd, 2015, Eran and a group of friends were about to visit Eran’s girlfriend in the Espoir, a luxury rental at 156 Hope Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Reportedly, 10 to 14 people were inside the elevator. 

Modan tried to climb out through the open doors, but the elevator moved again. The elevator fell with its doors open to the basement and; after waiting, Modan stepped out just as the elevator quickly ascended to the lobby.

Modan died at the scene though his friend Mona Zarrin Ramsdell tried to resuscitate him.

She said, ‘His head was out, but his body was in. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His head was crushed between the lobby and elevator. 

The elevator was a problem for residents of the building. The residents had complained that it would shake and jerk up and down.

Right before Eran Modan was killed, the elevator at 156 Hope St. “had unexpectedly dropped several floors,” the suit alleges.

The lawsuit seeks some $20,000 per elevator for repairs, among other unspecified damages. However, some claim to have seen video footage of the incident. They mentioned that the elevator, designed for up to ten people, was overloaded with 14 at the time.
