David Perry is making headlines after saving the lives of many people. On Sunday, November 14, Liverpool fell under an alleged terrorist attack.
A car explosion had happened at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital. It was fortunately thwarted by David Perry who was carrying a passenger.

Taxi driver David Perry helped prevent the suicide bombers from wreaking more extensive damage.
As per reports, he was carrying one passenger in his cab. After Perry spotted the bomb with the passenger, he managed to escape the vehicle.
The wise taxi driver was able to lock the perpetrator inside the vehicle. It had stopped outside the miles from the Liverpool Women’s hospital.
According to Investigation, the targeted spot was Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. The area was reportedly hosting the Remembrance Day service.
After the explosion, Counter Terrorism Police North West has arrested three men. They are from a different city and are suspected of the attack.
However, the authorities have not yet confirmed their involvement in the explosion.

Who Is “The Hero” Taxi Driver David Perry?
David Perry is a taxi driver from Liverpool who travels with The Delta Taxis.
He had prevented an awful disaster through his heroic action.
After the explosion, Perry was left injured along with one civilian. However, the exploded vehicle only killed the suicide bomber.
Perry received a ruptured eardrum which required immediate surgery. As of November 14, 2021, the taxi driver is in stable condition.

Following David Perry’s heroic effort, a Gofundme fundraising has been created for him.
The fundraiser has accumulated £5,675 till today, the target is to reach the £20,000 goal to support his medical expenses.
Merseyside Private Hire Drivers Group has also provided a tribute to Perry’s brave act.
The mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson has thanked the hero taxi driver as well.
Several local Twitteratis have reacted to his effort. Some are also demanding a knighthood for him.
