    Victoria Ekanoye is an English actress who was born Adebisi Victoria M Ekanoye on December 11, 1981.

    In addition, she is well known for her role on Coronation Street as Angie Appleton.

    Moreover, she has also starred in The Chase: Celebrity Special, The Big Quiz, and The X Factor: Celebrity, where she portrayed Rachel.

    She also played Kate Bennett in two episodes of Doctors in the second season of Almost Never.

    Victoria Ekanoye Revealed She Has A Breast Cancer

    Victoria Ekanoye stated on November 8, 2021, that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

    She suffers from sickle cell disease. The 39-year-old actress, who portrayed Angie Appleton on the show from 2017 to 2019, says she is motivated to battle cancer for her infant boy.

    The actress, who has previously been in The Royals and The X Factor: Celebrity, gave birth to her first kid, Theo, with husband Jonny Lomas, 33, earlier this year.

    Victoria announced her diagnosis in a painful interview with OK! magazine, expressing her dread of not being able to see her kid grow up.

    Victoria Ekanoye is totally optimistic that she would be in better health condition in the future.

    Despite her illness, she is totally optimistic and motivated to fight against cancer for her baby boy.

    Because the illness was identified so early, her physicians feel a double mastectomy will cure her.

    Victoria announced in March that she and Jonny had had their first child. While she was nursing Theo in July when she saw a little lump growing from the top of her left breast.

    Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 41, and her sister at the age of 39 as were many others in her family. 

    On the thirteenth of October, she was diagnosed with DCIS, or Ductal carcinoma in situ.
