    Brent Pry is a newly appointed football coach at the Virginia Tech Hokies. He is the former defensive coordinator for the Penn State Nittany Lions. As per the report, he will be introduced as head coach at a news conference. 

    Mr. Pry, who has 30 years of experience in coaching, has spent eight years at Penn State. Almost all of his knowledge comes from the defensive side and mostly from working with linebackers. 

    The football coach, a Broyles Award nominee, was ranked fourth in the country in red-zone defense and 7th in scoring defense. Moreover, he replaced Justin Fuente, who went 43-31 in six seasons in Blacksburg.

    Brent Pry’s salary as a Virginia Tech Coach hasn’t been revealed. However, considering he is an experienced coach, the paycheck has many zeros. 

    With more than 30 years of experience, the coach has an estimated net worth of $6 million. His yearly income and salary are still under review. Mr. Pry became Nittany’s defensive coordinator in 2016.

    During his service time at Pry, Penn State has reached 11 victories three times and posted four seasons with at least nine wins. In addition, the coach has also worked closely with a pair of 2021 NFL first-round draft dricks in Micah Parsons and Odafe Oweh. 

    In his long career, 15 of his teams have reached bowl games. Moreover, Mr. Pry has been part of 8 defenses ranked in the FBS top 25 in total defense.

    Brent Pry is married to his beautiful wife, Amy Pry. The couple is blessed with three children: Colby Pry, Madeline Pry, and Catherine Pry. 

    Talking about his personal life, he was born on 1st April 1970 in Altoona, Peensylvania. He did his schooling at Lexington High School. Later on, he joined Divison III Maryville college in 1998. 

    He was born to his father, Jim Pry, and his mother, Kathy Pry. Back in his college days, he used to play for the Buffalo Bulls. Later on, when he suffered an injury in 1991, he returned as a student coach for the 1992 season.
