Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense attorneys tackled testimony by one of her accusers on Tuesday that she had once seen a photograph of the British socialite “nude and pregnant” at Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida mansion.

Attorney Jeffrey Pagliuca showed the accuser, identified only as Carolyn, a photo that was not shown publicly. Carolyn said that it wasn’t the photo she saw of Maxwell, the New York Post reported.

Pagliuca showed the same photo to another witness on Wednesday — Epstein’s former pilot David Rodgers — who identified the person in the photo as a pregnant Eva Andersson Dubin, an ex-girlfriend of Epstein’s and a former Miss Sweden.

Another Epstein pilot, Larry Visoski, testified early in the trial that he’d never known Maxwell to be pregnant.

While evidence at the trial has suggested Epstein and Maxwell were romantically involved for years, Maxwell was never known to be pregnant.

The lines of questioning by defense attorneys seemed aimed at casting doubt on Carolyn’s memories and her testimony.

Under direct examination, Carolyn said she was introduced to Epstein and Maxwell in the early 2000s when she was 14. She said she was called to do sexualized massages for Epstein “over 100 times,” until she turned 18 and realized, she said, she was “too old.”

She testified that Maxwell appeared in the massage room at one point and groped her, adding that she “had a great body for Mr Epstein and his friends.”

Maxwell is on trial for sex trafficking and other related charges. Her attorneys argue that prosecutors are using her as a scapegoat for Epstein, who was found hanging in his cell in 2019 while awaiting his own trial on sex trafficking charges.
