Shadoe Stevens Wiki Biography

Terry Keith Ingstad was born on 3 November 1947, in Jamestown, North Dakota USA, and is a radio host, television personality, and voice actor, perhaps best known for being the host of “American Top 40” from 1988 to 1995, but he also hosts radio shows such as “Top of the World” and “Mental Radio”. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich Shadoe Stevens? As of mid-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $3 million, mostly earned through a successful career on radio – he is the creator and co-founder of the rock station “Cabo Wabo Radio”, but has also been involved in various television projects, and all of these ensured the position of his wealth.

Shadoe Stevens Net Worth $3 million

Shadoe grew up in a family that was heavily involved on radio. His father and uncle were staff engineers at KEJY, and his family own many radio stations under the Ingstad Family Media Group.

In 1957, he came to prominence after Life magazine wrote an article about him called “America’s Youngest DJ”, and soon he was hosting a weekly rock show called “Spin with Terry”. While studying in high school, he also became the host of the program “Mister Midnight”.

After matriculating, he then attended the University of North Dakota, studying commercial art and radio/TV journalism. He also studied at the University of Arizona, and while at college, he worked at KILO, KQWB and KIKX which increased his popularity as a DJ. After graduating, he worked at WRKO in Boston – which decided his name change – then found more opportunities, becoming the sidekick of the series “The Steve Allen Show”. In the next five years his net worth would grow, as he became a program director and radio personality at KRLA, KMET-FM, and KROQ-FM.

In the 1980s, Stevens would produce “Fred R. Rated for Federated” which is a series of television commercials made for electronics retailers, The Federated Group. The ads became very popular and they even led to a movie deal and television shows. The segments were featured by Time Magazine, and Stevens’ net worth increased significantly.

He then ventured into acting, and gained national recognition for his work on “The Kentucky Fried Movie”, and “The Hollywood Squares” in which he served as an announcer. In 1993, he would become a part of the sitcom “Dave’s World”, before appearing as a guest in “The Larry Sanders Show”. He also became the star of the film “Traxx”, and was the main character in the series “Max Monroe: Loose Cannon”. In 1996, he would venture into voice work, being cast in “The Incredible Hulk” as Doc Samson.

In 1999, Shadoe had a cameo in an episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210”, but his next major project would be as the announcer of “The Late Late Show”, a position which he held until 2015. A few of his latest projects include “The Craig Freguson Show” and “Join or Die with Craig Ferguson”.

For his personal life, it is known that Stevens married Lynda in 1967, but they divorced in 1979. Cynthia Gaydos (1980-84) was his second wife, and since 1986 he has been married to model Beverly Cunningham. He has a son from his first marriage and two daughters from his third marriage, one of whom is actress Amber Dawn Stevens West.
