Daniel Andrews, the Premier of Victoria, has not been arrested. He is, however, summoned to front court for hiding an overt act of treason.
Andrews is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, December 16, 2021. Due to Covid concerns, the hearing will be held by video link.
The allegations were brought in secret by anti-lockdown activists Jim Rech and photographer Dezi Freeman.
Thousands of Victorians have also protested Premier throughout the last two years. They oppose the planned pandemic legislation.
Andrews is reportedly irritated by the news and has gone on leave as a result. It’s still unknown where the premier went at the end of the year.
The Victorian premier is married to Catherine Kesik and resides in Mulgrave, according to reports. The father of three children, he is 49 years old.
