Dylan Spellman was the initial suspect of the assault and murder of Mollie Olgin back in 2012.

The murder of Mollie Olgin had made national and international news due to the intensity of the case’s background.

Such crimes on a gay couple suggested the criminal’s hate though the hate crime was not charged in court.

On June 23, 2012, Mollie Olgin and her girlfriend, Mary Kristine Chapa, were sexually assaulted and shot with bullets at Violet Andrews Park.

Olgin passed away on the scene while Chapa made a miraculous recovery though she is still paralyzed in the left side of her body.

Along with his group of five, he had committed a home invasion robbery of a Nye County public administrator.

Spellman was the youngest group at 19 years old back in December 2010.

In the 2012 murder of Olgin, he was an initial suspect.,

However, he got away, and his name did not pop up again until 2018 when a DNA test was done after his hair was found on Olgin’s body.

Meanwhile, the 2021 updates on the criminal are still into consideration and will be updated very shortly.

Who Is Dylan Spellman? Learn More Mollie Olgin Murder Suspect

Dylan Spellman is the confirmed suspect of the Mollie Olgin murder case.

The DNA test confirms that the hair belongs to Spellman, and he is the man who raped and killed Olgin.

To the surprise, Spellman is yet to be presented in the court regarding Olgin’s case as of 2021.

His full name is Dylan Wade Spellman.

Given his past criminal background, he likely continued his criminal acts in the later years after 2012.

The crime show Dateline Investigates has once again heated the internet where netizens are demanding immediate arrest and conviction of Spellman.

However, the legal side of Olgin and Chapa have yet to give further updates on the case.

On the other hand, another man named Dylan Strickland is serving life imprisonment for the murder of Olgin.

His appeal of overturning his charges was rejected in January 2020.

The media and public are quite upset in this case as the real perpetrator is still on large while the wrong person is behind bars.
