Mark Curry was born on the 1st June 1961 in Oakland, California USA, and is an actor, host, and comedian, perhaps best known for starring in the ABC sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” (1992-1997), and “See Dad Run” (2012-2014). Mark G. Curry is the youngest of nine children in his family, and went to St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California, and later studied at California State University, East Bay. He was a class clown since his school days, and often practiced jokes on customers while working in a drugstore. Friends and family encouraged him to try out at local comedy clubs, and soon after Curry became one of the most popular comedians in Oakland.

Curry made his movie debut in 1991 in Topper Carew’s comedy “Talkin’ Dirty After Dark” starring Martin Lawrence. He then starred in the TV series “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” (1992-1997), appeared in Mario Van Peebles’ drama “Panther” (1995), “Switchback” (1997) with Danny Glover and Dennis Quaid, and had a minor role in “Armageddon” (1998) starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Ben Affleck.

In the 2000’s, Curry played parts in “The Drew Carey Show” (2000), Fred Parnes’ movie “A Man Is Mostly Water” (2000), Steve Boyum’s “Motocrossed” (2001), and “The Poof Point” (2001). Soon after, he appeared in “Bad Boy” (2002) with Denis Leary and Elizabeth Hurley, and in two TV series: “Less Than Perfect” (2005) and “Fat Actress” (2005), increasing further his net worth.

Most recently, Curry has worked on “Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury” (2011) with Kevin Sorbo and Danny Trejo, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” (2011-2012), “See Dad Run” (2012-2014), “Instant Mom” (2015), and “Black Jesus” (2015), which have also added to his net worth.

Curry has also appeared on several music videos including Too Short’s “I Ain’t Trippin”, Bow Wow’s “Take Ya Home”, and in Luniz’s “Oakland Raiders”, contributing further to his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Mark Curry had a severe and weird accident in 2006 when an aerosol can exploded behind a water heater and damaged over 20% of Curry’s body. He was forced to spent several months at home recovering, and later admitted that he considered committing suicide, but his friends talked him over.
