“Missy is a very social person who is out in the public view regularly, so for her to not be responsive or seen was considered unusual.”

A California woman well-known in the art fair scene has been missing for three weeks.

As Fox News reports, 30-year-old Missy Hernandez vanished in Fresno three weeks ago. She has a 12-year-old daughter, who is believed to be accounted for.

“Missy is a very social person who is out in the public view regularly, so for her to not be responsive or seen was considered unusual,” Tony Botti, a spokesperson for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, told the news station. “We are now three weeks removed from her being seen or spoken with.”

Hernandez reportedly sells crystals and jewelry at pop-up fairs, where she has been a familiar face. According to the report, she previously lived in Los Angeles and still has ties there.

Described in the report as a “beauty queen,” Hernandez also goes by the name Missy Perez and has family in Texas. Fox News was unable to reach any of the missing woman’s relatives at the time of the most recent report, but her niece spoke to Fox 26 last week.

“We’re desperate for anything anyone can do for us,” Dolly Ayala, told the Fresno-based news station. “If you saw her if you remember what she was wearing or who she was with, a car that she got into just any information that anybody could give us at this point would be really, really helpful.”

Hernandez is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and dark hair. She reportedly has tattoos on her arms and legs and has been photographed wearing dark-rimmed eyeglasses.

Anyone with information on Hernandez’s whereabouts is urged to call Fresno Police Detective Gary Haslam at (559) 367-4734. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867 or www.valleycrimestoppers.org.
