Kyrie Irving was fined $25,000 following an incident with a fan during Monday night’s game.

Byron Spruell, NBA President of League Operations, announced that Irving was charged “for directing obscene language toward a fan” during the Nets’ 114-107 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

A Cavaliers fan was sitting courtside heckling Irving and the Brooklyn Nets star responded, “Got y’all a championship and motherf*ckers still ungrateful.”

Irving played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2011-2017.

Irving returned to the court a fortnight ago after being benched for three months for refusing to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
