Chay Bowskill is a 20years old man arrested for kidnapping her girlfriend, Angel Lynn, and leaving her with severe brain damage.

On September 17, 2020, he dragged his girlfriend into a van before she tumbled from the vehicle. The vehicle was traveling at 60mph along the A6 near Loughborough when she fell and injured her head.

According to the evidence presented at Leicester Crown Court, she suffered catastrophic brain injuries. Which made her unable to communicate requiring round-the-clock care.

According to her family, “she is alive but will never live a life.”

Despite being convicted of violent kidnapping as well as coercive and controlling behavior, Bowskill was only sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, of which he would likely serve only half.

Bowskill was found not guilty of dreadful bodily harm to Miss Lynn for her injuries after claiming she voluntarily jumped out of the vehicle.

He is expected to release as early as June 2024, if the time served on remand is taken into account. Furthermore, Bowskill was also convicted of coercive and controlling behavior in his relationship with Miss Lynn.

As well as perverting the course of justice after putting pressure on his mother to back away from her police statement.

Angel Lynn Boyfriend Chay Bowskill was arrested yesterday for kidnapping her girlfriend along with his friend Rocco Sansome. Rocco Sansome was his accomplice in the kidnapping because he was driving the van of the abduction.

The jury at Leicester Crown Court heard how Bowskill, grabbed her after a fight and forced her into the van. Bowskill is seen on CCTV chasing after Lynn before grabbing her and pulling her back to the vehicle.

She later fell from the van while it was traveling at about 60mph on the dual carriageway, resulting in life-changing brain damage.

Bowskill was sentenced to seven and a half years. While Sansome was sentenced to 21 months in a young offender institution and was barred from driving for 12 months.

However, after receiving complaints that the sentence was ‘manifestly inadequate,’ Attorney General Suella Braverman will now review the case.

She has 28 days to appeal the case to the Court of Appeal, where Bowskill’s sentence could be significantly increased.

Chay Bowskill is thought to be a gypsy, but we don’t have any information on him at this time. Katherine Norris, his mother, is ashamed of her son and has spoken out against him regarding his unhealthy connection with Angel.

She testified before the jury that the couple spent many nights at her place and were in a “toxic relationship.” She also argues that they shouldn’t have stayed together and that they battled constantly over insignificant issues.

She confirmed that her son would rage and scream aggressively at the alleged victim, once to the point of collapsing the girlfriend.
