On July 29, 2008, Oklahoma native Cory Bodily went missing for several weeks. However, the family and the authorities were still hoping for his safe return.

The hope of the family shattered when the dog dug up his skull in December of that year. Investigation Discovery’s “Murder in the Heartland: Shallow Grave” has covered the gruesome murder of Cory.

The traces led to the investigations that eventually found the killer eight years later the horrendous crime.

Libby Cox was pleaded guilty to the felony charge of accessory in the murder case of Cory Bodily. The mutual friend Cox was later found involved in Cory’s case. 

As per the reports, Cox served her time in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

Found guilty in the case, she was sentenced to 12-years in prison. She pleaded guilty in the case in 2017.

The case took eight long years to finally reach down to the killer of Cory. There was a crack on the case after a guy named John Perkins came forward with a statement.

He claimed that his brother Bobby pulled out a gun on Cory over the dispute of money. Libby happened to be a mutual friend who had involvement in the case that the investigation indicated.

Her Location – Where Is She Now?

Is Libby Cox Out On Parole?  According to the court records, Libby Cox earned parole in the year 2020 for her sentence of 12-years. At the present time, she is currently residing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Cox is working at Old Home Rescue for her livelihood. Meanwhile, she is living a sound life out of the prison after serving her time after pleading guilty in 2017.

Libby Cox Husband & Family Explored

Though her social media profile suggests, she is now married to someone, her husband’s details remain a mystery. The only thing known is she now has her own family with her spouse in Oklahoma.

She got married to her husband in February 2019. Cox updated her new milestone on her Facebook profile.
