She continued saying, Shaun was “annoying” and “worse than a pest”. Prior to that, Rachel also added “Sarah was just nosy.”
During the investigation, the authorities found out that Shaun and Mark died due to antifreeze poisoning. Rachel was said to be close to her mother Diane than any of her siblings.

In 2015, Diane Staudte and her daughter Rachel Staudte were convicted of murdering their family members. Pleaded guilty at the age of 25 in 2016, she is now 31 years old.
As Rachel took the plea deal, she was sentenced to second-degree murder and assault of Sarah.
She is currently serving her prison time. Rachel will be eligible for parole after serving 42 and a half years. Meanwhile, Diane is serving her sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The police connected her to the crime when they found her journal. It revealed that she helped her mother to execute the murder.
