Biography:

Shanaya Kapoor was born on November 3, 1999. Her father is notable actor Sanjay Kapoor who is best known for his roles in Raja as the title role and Anant Mathur on Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara. Her mother is Maheep Kapoor. Born to a family of actors, Shanaya Kapoor didn’t pursue a career in Bollywood until recently when her upcoming project was announced.

She did, however, had worked behind the camera when she was younger, working as an assistant director on her cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Her experience working in the movies encouraged her to become an actress. As of this year, it has been confirmed that she’ll be making her big Bollywood debut in a Dharma productions movie called Bedhadak.

With Shashank Khaitan as the director, the movie also features newcomers Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani in starring roles. Prior to this, the actress had announced her collaboration with filmmaker Karan Johar, which has finally happened with Johar’s next production, Bedhadak.
