Sean Toomey is the victim of a shooting that happened in Philadelphia on Thursday. The 15-year-old boy was shot twice in the head when he was returning home at the 6200 block of Mulberry Street.

Toomey is the latest victim of homicide as there has been a significant increase in homicides this year. The officers are still searching for the shooters and investigating the case.

He was a student at Mercy Vocational High School. Unfortunately, we don’t know which year he was in but some reports claim he was a recent graduate of the Class of 2020.

Meet Sean Toomey’s Parents

Sean Toomey’s parents were inside the house when he was shot in front of their house. He was getting water from his parent’s vehicle.

Tomey’s father, John Toomey found his son lying on the lawn. He was immediately rushed to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital but was announced brain dead. His parents were devasted by the loss of their son and donated his organs on Friday.

Is The Shooting Suspect Arrested? Sean Toomey Facebook And Instagram Explored

No arrests have been made and the suspect is still at large, according to Philadelphia Police Capt. John Walker.

According to the officer, one of the three teens who were involved in an attempted car theft just across the street was the shooter. Further details on the case are missing at the moment as the investigation is still going on.

The news of his death broke all over the internet and is currently trending on different social media platforms including, Instagram and Facebook.
