E.D.I. Mean Facts
- He started rapping under the alias “Big Malcolm”.
- His stage name “E.D.I. Mean” is a play on the name Idi Amin, former president of Uganda.
- He befriended future rapper Katari “Kastro” Cox when E.D.I. Mean was in 3rd grade and Kastro later introduced him to his cousin, Tupac Shakur.
- Tupac Shakur, Katari “Kastro” Cox, and E.D.I. Mean formed a rap group in 1992 and the trio went under the names Thoro Headz and Young Thugs.
