On Sunday, a Tennessee woman was arrested for allegedly holding her husband at gunpoint during a child support dispute.

WREG reported that Shelby County deputies who responded to the victim’s home were met by Lashuna Hall, 44, who said the victim had locked her out. However, the victim claimed Hall was supposed to come over to his home and comb their autistic daughter’s hair, but she started yelling at him over a late child support payment.

According to the news outlet, the husband claimed he tried to calm Hall but she ended up brandishing a Beretta — leading their daughter to scream. Hall allegedly blamed her husband for being late on her rent before pulling out the gun.

The husband said Hall has depression and he believes she has not been taking her medications.

“It’s about to get bad in here,” she commented, according to WREG.

Meanwhile, Hall reportedly told police that she and her husband got into an argument about bills. She said the gun fell out of her purse during a struggle, and she did not point it at anyone.

WREG reported that police arrested Hall after discovering the gun under a couch cushion.

The husband showed WREG proof on his phone that he made a child support payment to Hall a day before Sunday’s incident.

Hall, who is charged with domestic assault, was released from custody on a $1,000 bond. Check back for updates.
