Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has revealed that Dominik Szoboszlai is the player that has surprised him the most in training.

Gravenberch and Szoboszlai both joined Liverpool in the summer and the Hungary international has certainly caught the eye in training.

Gravenberch was full of praise for Szoboszlai and described his team-mate’s shooting ability as ‘crazy’. He remarked that Szoboszlai is very accurate in shooting practise in training.

‘Also sometimes in training, sometimes we shoot after training and it’s like ‘one, two, three’, they go all in. Crazy things. So I think it’s Dom with his shot.’

So far Szoboszlai has scored two goals in 11 appearances for Liverpool and it looks like there will be plenty more strikes to come from the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, Gravenberch has made seven appearances since joining Liverpool.

He scored his first goal for the Reds against Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League.

After their struggles last season, Liverpool have enjoyed an encouraging start to the campaign.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in fourth place in the Premier League, three points adrift of leaders Tottenham.

After the international break Liverpool will return to action with a home game against rivals Everton.

Gravenberch started his career at Ajax after graduating from the Dutch club’s famous youth system. He spent a season at Bayern Munich prior to signing for Liverpool.

The 21-year-old has been capped by the Netherlands on eleven occasions.
