CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police have confirmed a chase that ended in crash on Thursday evening.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., Parma police were involved in a pursuit of a suspect. The suspect continued to flee from Parma into Cleveland.

The chase ended when the suspect crashed their vehicle into another vehicle near the intersection of Pearl Road and Altoona Road.

Cleveland firefighters had to use the jaws of life to rescue the victim out of their vehicle after the crash.

The condition of the suspect and the victim are not known at this time. Cleveland and Parma police have not announced any arrests from the incident.
