Deportivo Alaves manager Luis Garcia Plaza was unable to hide his emotions on the touchline as his side fell to an agonising late defeat against Real Madrid on Thursday night.

Garcia’s side had looked on course for an impressive point against Real Madrid, with the relegation threatened side frustrating the likes of Jude Bellingham.

Real Madrid had been reduced to 10-men in the second half as Nacho was shown a straight red card for a foul on Samu Omorodion.

Garcia gave an emotional reaction to the late blow for his side, as the Alaves boss was seen kicking and tipping over a drinks cooler on the touchline.

He was then see slowly removing his coat, before throwing it onto the turf in frustration.

Garcia continued to show his frustration as he sat down in the dugout, with the Spaniard seen shouting and shaking his seat in anger.

Alaves remain in 16th in LaLiga following the dramatic late loss against title chasing Real Madrid.

The Basque club are seeking to preserve their top flight status in Spain, after Garcia led the side to promotion back to LaLiga last season.

The visitors moved to top spot by clinching the three points, with Ancelotti’s side moving above Girona on goal difference.

Girona, the surprise league leaders, drew 1-1 against Real Betis in their match on Thursday.
