Darius Rucker was arrested at Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and put in jail at 1 p.m. He was released on a $10,500 bond an hour later. Rucker’s lawyer, Mark Puryear, said the singer is cooperating with police on the misdemeanor allegations. The charges include narcotics possession and car registration violations.

Rucker released “Carolyn’s Boy,” his eighth solo album, in 2023, a dedication to his mother, after receiving a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in December. Despite his great music career, he told Fox News Digital that he drives himself by a sense of unfinished business.
