Manchester United will try and build on their dramatic midweek win against Wolves by getting the better of West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag’s side served up a much-improved performance for the majority of their trip to the Molineux, looking far more dangerous in the final third, but still ended up needing a 97th-minute winner from Kobbie Mainoo to secure the three points.
As for West Ham, they got off to an awful start against Bournemouth on Thursday – Kalvin Phillips gifting the visitors a goal inside three minutes – but they fought back and secured a 1-1 draw thanks to James Ward-Prowse’s penalty.
Here’s 90min’s preview of the game.

Manchester United, by their own high standards, have a pretty iffy home record this season, losing four of the 11 Premier League games they’ve played. The Hammers, meanwhile, have the sixth best record on the road this season, picking up 17 points from a possible 33.
That haul includes surprise wins at Arsenal and Tottenham, so there’s positive memories for West Ham to call upon. But United are looking sharper in the final third and, importantly, are starting to find the back of the net with regularity.
United also have revenge on their minds after comfortably losing to West Ham pre-Christmas, and Ten Hag will hope Hojlund and co can grab back-to-back three points.
