Griselda Blanco‘s youngest son, Michael Corleone Blanco, has been vocal about what he thinks of his mother’s portrayal in the Netflix miniseries Griselda, starring ​Sofía Vergara in the title role.

Michael was born on August 5, 1978, and is the only child of Griselda and her third husband, Dario Sepulveda. He was named after Al Pacino‘s character in The Godfather trilogy.

In the miniseries, Michael is last seen being reunited with his three older half-brothers following his father’s assassination at the hands of his mother’s cohorts in Colombia. The four visit Griselda in prison and she hoped to reunite with them upon her release. Griselda later was told that her three eldest sons were killed in retaliation by rival drug lords shortly before her freedom, depriving her of her wish to become a family again.
