The Premier League may have lost Harry Kane this summer, but England’s top flight still boasts some of the best forwards on the planet.

Whether you want goals, assists or anything else, you can always find it in the Premier League, with superstars and under-the-radar ballers all strutting their stuff on a regular basis.

90min’s power rankings attempts to pick out the seven most in-form forwards of the 2023/24Premier League campaign.

Heung-Min Son

There were genuine concerns that Tottenham’s attack would fall apart post-Harry Kane.

But those fears were quickly put to bed by Son Heung-min’s return to his brilliant best – form that got the best out of the players around him. The South Korean’s displays between now and the end of the season will be key to Spurs’ European aspirations.

Cole Palmer

Chelsea are probably the most frustrating side to support around the world currently, but there’s nothing to complain about when you individually look at Cole Palmer.

He’s shown nerves of steel at important moments, singlehandedly dragging the Blues out of some sticky situations.

Kai Havertz

It’s taken far too long for Kai Havertz to catch fire in English football but finally the German is starting to show what he can do.

Arsenal are in red-hot form, scoring goals for fun in 2024, and Havertz has decided to get in on the act with some tremendous displays up front. Long may it continue from a Gunners perspective.

Erling Braut Håland

Erling Haaland still has the best goals per minute ratio in the Premier League, but the Norwegian has recently shown a vulnerability to his game – to the surprise of absolutely everybody.

Chances are passing him by – which never used to happen – but he’s still ruthlessly efficient for the most part. Ollie Watkins and Mohamed Salah are giving him a run for his money in the leading scorer stakes, but you wouldn’t want to bet against Haaland.

Phil Foden

A player in with a real chance of winning the PFA Player of the Year award is Manchester City’s Phil Foden.

He’s been outstandingly good all season long for City, with his increasing influence on proceedings apparent with every passing week.

Ollie Watkins

Ollie Watkins’ credentials continue to be questioned at England level, but there’s no disputing what he’s achieving at Aston Villa.

Five goals in his last three Premier League games – against Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Luton Town – has taken the 28-year-old to 16 strikes for the season, and he’s added ten assists for good measure.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka’s is brimming with confidence at Arsenal, who are powering into Premier League title contention after a superb run of recent results.

The 22-year-old is a constant goal threat, provides chances galore for his teammates, and has leadership qualities beyond his tender years.

It’s worth mentioning the impact of injuries and international commitments on a player’s ranking – or non-ranking in this case. Mohamed Salah, you’re clearly not forgotten, you just haven’t been around.
