Trabzonspor were left red faced after a horror mix-up gifted Alanyaspor their second goal in their Turkish Super Lig clash.
Alanyaspor had taken an eighth minute lead in the match through Oguz Aydin and the winger benefited from a bizarre moment to double their advantage.
Goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir attempted to pass the ball to his team-mate Stefano Denswil following a break in play.
An alert Aydin seized the opportunity as the ball rolled past Denswil, with the winger running onto the loose pass.

Aydin reacted quickly to Denswil’s mistake with the winger scoring Alanyaspor’s second goal
Aydin was left with the simpliest of tasks to roll the ball into the empty net to put Alanyaspor 2-0 up in the 38th minute.
Cakir, who has been capped 26 times for Turkey in his career, and his team-mates appeared stunned by Denswil’s lapse in concentration.
The goalkeeper and several team-mates could be seen with their arms outstretched after the mix-up.
Trabzonspor were unable to recover from the setback with Efecan Karaca extending Alanyaspor’s advantage in the 78th minute.
Former Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe pulled a goal back in the closing stages for Trabzonspor, but the visitors suffered a 3-1 defeat.
Trabzonspor head coach Abdullah Avci admitted frustration at conceding the farcical second goal, with the 60-year-old believing his side had dominated the first half.
‘We ended the first half, in which we played very well, losing 2-0,’ Avci told Bein Sports.

Efecan Karaca added Alanyaspor’s third goal in the second half to secure the victory
‘We had 70 percent possession of the ball, we had positions and 15 shots.
‘You enter the half with 0-2 behind, one goal is not something that will happen.
‘The second goal is a position we have never encountered on the field, mistakes like this can happen in this game.’
Trabzonspor remain third in the table after the defeat as they battle to secure Europa League football next season.
The victory lifted Alanyaspor up to 13th in the Turkish Super Lig, taking them four points clear of the relegation zone.
