Bakare Zainab, a Nigerian actress, harshly criticized her fellow actress Wumi Toriola for taking on a similar film project.

Bakare Zainab, visibly upset, expressed her dismay during an Instagram Live session, questioning Wumi’s audacity and what gave the fellow movie star the right to speak to her in such a rude manner.

Bakare emphasized that Wumi had been triggering her for over four years, but she had always opted to ignore her antics.

Bakare Zainab revealed that when she was about to upload the trailer for her film, “Sister Esther,” she was alerted that Wumi had asked select people to deliver a message requesting credit as her inspiration for the film.

Bakare, on the other hand, praised individuals such as Shola Shobowale, Funke Akindele, Lola Idije, Mide Martins, and Mercy Aigbe for setting a good example by leading without asking anything in return.

She claimed that on several movie sets, Wumi was disrespectful to everyone, regardless of age, and boasted of her capacity to insult anyone without guilt.

In her words; “The audacity baffles me a lot. What gives you the strength to think you can just be talking? It’s been over 4 years, and I just keep overlook things, sometimes I just post on my WhatsApp status, you guys should go hold your favorite.

Tonight I want to upload my movie and someone is telling people to tell me to put inspired by. What’s wrong with you? Grow up. Must it be you, why can’t you shush your mouth and just move?

Some people set the pace and so many people will follow that pace, but you I don’t understand you, u can’t even follow your pace. If you set any stup!d pace, I will kick it away, because I don’t want to be like you.

At location, you will be rude to everybody both young and old. I think I am done with all this bullshit. Since you sent people to me in private, I have come with my full chest to tell you to stop it. The next time I am coming on this Live video is to mention your name. I have given enough clue, those that know I am talking to you, will send this to you”.

While Bakare Zainab did not officially mention Wumi Toriola’s name, she left strong signals that she was referring to the fellow movie star. Many viewers sent comments mentioning Wumi Toriola’s name, advising both actresses to remain calm in the face of the fight.
