France returned to winning ways beating Chile 3-2 after a disappointing defeat to Germany in their previous outing.

Chile wasted no time taking the lead, with Marcelino Núñez capitalizing on a defensive lapse to slot home an early goal in just the 6th minute.

However, France responded strongly, with Fofana restoring parity with a superb strike from distance after being set up by Kylian Mbappé.

France took the lead through Kolo-Muani, who rose brilliantly to head home a cross from Hernández.

Despite missed opportunities, including a header from Saliba and an effort from Oliver Giroud, France extended their advantage as Giroud found the back of the net following excellent buildup play involving Kolo-Muani.

Just as France seemed to be in control, Chile fought back with Darío Osorio scoring a stunning consolation goal to narrow the deficit.
