Shailene Woodley fans were all saying the same thing about her ex Aaron Rodgers and her new Emily in Paris star boyfriend.

The Divergent star, 33, debuted her secret romance with Lucas Bravo, 36, during a loved-up stroll through Paris on Sunday – three years after she ended her engagement with the NFL star, 41.

Though he looked a far cry from his Netflix role of hunky chef Gabriel, Lucas did did bear a striking resemblance to Aaron, with the duo both sharing hazel eyes, dark hair, beard, and dashing features.

Fans quickly picked up on the resemblance, with one writing: ‘Looks like the football guy . She has a type!’

Others wrote: ‘Looks like aaron rodgers!

‘she has a type lol’

‘Nahhh this is Aaron Rodgers with a wig.

‘I thought from the picture she was back with Aaron Rodgers.’

Aaron was old news as Shailene snuggled up to Lucas during a relaxed jaunt.

While it’s unknown how long Shailene and Lucas have been dating, the couple looked very comfortable with one another as they explored the sights, seeming completely smitten with one another.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Shailene and Lucas for comment.

The duo snuggled close whilst making their way through the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, with Lucas slinging a protective arm around Shailene.

She tenderly held his hand as he clasped her shoulder.

Little is known about Lucas’ romantic history though last year he revealed he was newly out of a three year long relationship.

Lucas’ ex was another actor, whose identity was not revealed.

‘You’re in different countries, and then you have 24 hours to reconnect,’ he told C Magazine.  ‘It’s so much pressure to be the best version of yourself. Every gesture is overinterpreted. To stay sane in the industry you need to turn it off, which isn’t easy when you’re with someone else in the industry.’

Lucas previously admitted to not having a type.

‘You know, we talk about beauty, but I don’t have a type or anything,’ he told Elle Australia in 2020. ‘I like that “instant connection”. Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said.

‘There’s an entire conversation going through each other’s eyes in an instant, and you feel like you’ve known the person, or the person knows you—it’s the connection I’m looking for.

‘Just feeling safe and feeling like there’s an old soul in front of me, and we’ve always known each other [like] in a past life or something… it’s something you cannot see, and that’s mostly what I’m looking for.’

Shailene was recently rumored to be dating her Cult of Love co-star, Mexican actress Roberta Colindrez.

She was last in a serious relationship two years ago with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whom she became engaged to after a whirlwind, COVID-era romance.

Late last year the Fault In Our Stars actress opened up about their relationship in an interview with Outside magazine, and admitted she avoids talking about him because the relationship still makes her emotional.

‘I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it,’ she says as tears begin to fill her eyes, ‘always makes me cry.

‘It was not right. But it was beautiful,’ she added.

She called the period in which their split occurred difficult, though did not specifically say the separation was the reason for her sadness at the time.

‘I had a really awful, traumatic thing happen in early 2022,’ she said. ‘I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy,’ she explained.

Shailene said her empathy for ‘someone else’ kept her in a ‘toxic situation.’

‘Empathy,’ she added, ‘kind of kept me in this loop of feeling everything for everyone.’

‘I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing,’ she continued, calling it ‘the lowest low of my life.’

But Woodley’s best friend, stylist Kris Zero, was the one who helped her get out of her depression.

During their whirlwind romance, the Emmy nominee gushed to Jimmy Fallon that she did not think she would end up with a person who ‘threw balls for a living.’

Woodley and Rodgers became engaged in 2021, just days after the world learned about their relationship.

They remained engaged for a year before splitting up in February 2022.

They briefly reconciled before calling it quits for good two months later.

‘Shailene felt everything was on Aaron’s terms and it wasn’t making her happy,’ a source told People at the time.

In 2023 she admitted that their split was the ‘darkest, hardest time of [her] life’ while talking with Net-A-Porter.

‘My personal life was sh*tty, so it felt like a big pain bubble for eight months,’ she said.

‘I was so grateful that at least I could go to work and cry and process my emotions through my character,’ she added.

Since they called it quits, the six-foot-two football star was rumored to have moved on with model Mallory Edens but recently revealed on The Pat McAfee Show that he has a girlfriend named Brittani.
