Jake Paul first became famous as a YouTuber, but he has shifted his attention to pursuing a career in boxing. In November 2024, Jake stepped into the ring with the boxing legend Mike Tyson. As fans look forward to the new reality series Paul American, they’re eager to learn about his boxing career, including his fight record, statistics, victories, and defeats.
What Are Jake Paul’s Stats?
At 31 years younger than Mike, Jake had the age factor on his side, which many thought could be an advantage in his bout with Iron Mike. However, Mike’s extensive experience, with 47 fights completed before Jake was even born, provided him with a different edge. Jake boasts a height of 6 feet 1 inch and a weight of 227 pounds, along with a 76-inch reach—five inches longer than Mike’s.
How Many Fights Has Jake Paul Won?
As of March 2025, Jake has fought in 12 matches, winning 11 of them. Initially, his opponents were mostly celebrities and former UFC fighters. His first professional bout took place in January 2020 against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, whom he defeated with a technical knockout in the opening round. Later in 2020, on November 20, Jake faced off with former NBA player Nate Robinson at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, delivering a knockout victory in the second round.
Jake also has wins from his matches with former MMA fighter Ben Askren, former UFC champion Anderson Silva, mixed martial artist Nate Diaz, former UFC fighter Mike Perry, and two victories over former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley. His first win against a professional boxer was in 2023 when he took on Andre August, who Jake took out in the first round. Jake also beat professional boxer Ryan Bourland in March 2024.
Jake defeated Mike via unanimous decision in their fight on November 16, 2024.
How Many Fights Has Jake Paul Lost?
Jake only has one loss under his belt and that was against professional boxer Tommy Fury in January 2023. While he managed to knock Tommy down in the eighth round, Tommy took home the win due to a split decision from the judges. Two of the judges ruled in favor of Tommy, while only one ruled in favor of Jake.

What Were the Odds for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson?
At the time of publication, Jake was the heavy favorite to win the fight with odds at -200, according to Bet MGM, per USA Today. Mike was labeled as the underdog with odds for him set at +160.
Jake also seemed pretty confident in his ability to take out the “Baddest Man on the Planet.”
“I think I will knock him out in the fifth or sixth round,” Jake told CNN in an interview published on November 15, 2024. “I love Mike, but I have to handle business.”
He also said that he believed fighting Mike was a way to help him achieve his dream of becoming a world champion boxer.
“I think it helps going in there with one of the most ruthless and vicious champions there’s ever been and getting that experience under my belt,” Jake explained to the outlet. “To be able to have a camp and go in there under the bright lights against one of the greatest to ever do it will only help my experience level. As I continue to improve behind the scenes in each camp, the more time I get in the sport, the more deadly I become.”
Jake’s boxing career will be highlighted in his and brother Logan Paul’s reality show, Paul American, which premieres on Max on March 27, 2025.
