Kelsey Anderson is defending her outfit for Miami’s Ultra Music Festival after receiving comments from haters.

“It breaks my heart that these people think it’s OK to comment things like this. ‘Get your GF under control’ is extremely demeaning. I can dress however I want and I would never be with a partner that thinks they can control what I wear,” Anderson, 26, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, April 1. “What I put on my body does not dictate the type of person I am. I think this outfit is cute and fun and perfect for the environment I was in and I would do it again in a heartbeat. If you don’t like it you can unfollow me.”

Anderson added screenshots from various users who commented on her outfits. “Joey [Graziadei] you need to get your girlfriend under control,” one user wrote, while another added, “She’s looking rather trashy and she’s beautiful without that.”

“Why are you all dressed like that and acting like that? I don’t know what a rave is? Not a fan of that for you!” a third user wrote.

In another Instagram Story, Anderson beamed in a selfie while she rocked her outfit at Ultra. “There was So much positivity on that post as well, to my queens and kings that hyped me up I love y’all so much,” she wrote. “Some people just need to get with the times.”

Anderson last-minute decided to attend the music festival on Sunday, March 30, with several pals, including influencer Xandra Pohl. For her outfit, Anderson donned an all-black look wearing a black cut-out bodysuit with sheer flare-leg pants. She paired the look with silver accessories, including a butterfly-themed belt and styled her hair in pigtails with braids.

“I am in Miami right now. Last second [I] decided to change my flight because I was supposed to be in today but later, and then decided to come in earlier so I could go to Ultra,” Anderson said in a Sunday TikTok. “It’s so funny ‘cause Joey is here now too but he’s on the other side of Miami for the Miami Open. We tried to coordinate getting breakfast this morning but it just didn’t work. I can feel his presence close to me, so it’s great.”

As Anderson applied lipstick called “Naughty Talk,” she quipped, “Joey will be hearing from me tonight when I put this on.” Graziadei, 29, wrote in the comments section, “I can hear you now 😂.”

Anderson and Graziadei got engaged on the season 28 finale of The Bachelor, which aired in 2024. While the couple temporarily relocated to Los Angeles for Graziadei to pursue Dancing With the Stars season 33 — which he ultimately won with partner Jenna Johnson — they have since decided to settle down there.

“I’m excited to take this version of a routine that I’ve created with Dancing and then build it into my own. I’m excited to see what’s gonna possibly [be] next for me,” he said during an appearance on the “Lightweights” podcast in November 2024. “I’m really excited, we’ve decided to stay in L.A. I’m excited to build a home together. We got an apartment. I cannot wait to make it feel like something that’s really ours.”
