Exciting times are ahead, Hearties! The finale of When Calls the Heart Season 12 was broadcast in March. Fortunately, fans will be delighted to know that this beloved Hallmark Channel Western drama will continue, as it has already been picked up for a thirteenth season!
“Hearties are more than just fans — they are a vibrant community, as faithful and supportive as the residents of Hope Valley,” expressed Samantha DiPippo, Hallmark Media’s Senior Vice President of Programming, in an announcement. “Being able to share stories of hope, perseverance, humor, and love that have touched millions for twelve seasons, and will do so beyond, is truly a privilege.”
In Hope Valley, changes continue to unfold. Joy Gregory will take over from Lindsay Sturman as the showrunner for Season 13. Gregory previously contributed as a writer/executive producer during Season 12, while Sturman handled the role of showrunner for Seasons 10-12.
When exactly will When Calls the Heart return with new episodes? Here’s everything we know.
Nope. Hearts Around the Table: Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient airs from 7:00-9:00 p.m. ET, followed by an episode of The Chicken Sisters (“This is War, Y’all”).
You know it! As we mentioned above, Hallmark Channel announced the renewal after the Season 12 finale aired on Sunday, March 23.
“Hearties are far more than a fan base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley,” Hallmark Media’s Senior Vice President of Programming Samantha DiPippo said in a statement. “It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor. and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond.”
No official premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to return with new episodes in 2026 (per Deadline). Eight of the previous ten seasons have debuted in March or earlier — seven of the eight seasons premiered no later than February 24 — so we expect an early 2026 release date.
Seasons 1-12 of When Calls the Heart are streaming on Hallmark+, and Seasons 8-12 are available on Peacock.
