Conservative flamethrower Ann Coulter broke ranks with President Trump as she slammed his cabinet for their ‘Kim Jong il-style tributes’ to the commander-in-chief at a meeting Wednesday.
The right-wing firebrand took issue with several of Trump’s inner circle gushing over the president’s first 100 days back in the White House.
This included Attorney General Pam Bondi claiming that Trump has saved over 250 million lives in his first months back in office.
She said officials with the DEA told her that Trump has ‘taken the handcuffs off of DEA agents’, leading them to seize ‘more than 22 million fentanyl pills, 3,400 kilos of fentanyl… which saved – are you ready for this, media? – 258 million lives.’
Secretary of Education Linda McMahon also said she has ‘never worked so hard’ to get herself fired, as she follows through with Trump’s desire to eliminate her department.
After several more cabinet members gushed over Trump and his special advisor Elon Musk, who was also in attendance, Coulter took to X to share her thoughts.
‘Would it be possible to have a cabinet meeting without the Kim Jong il-style tributes?’ Coulter tweeted.
Although Coulter was mocked a decade ago for her early support for Trump during his first run – famously declaring he would win in 2016 before many gave him a chance – she has not been shy about criticizing Trump’s second presidency.

Although Coulter was mocked a decade ago with her early support for Donald Trump in his first candidacy, famously declaring he would win in 2016 before many gave him a chance, she has not been shy about criticizing Trump’s second presidency
That includes slamming the Trump administration’s arrests of legal foreign students who have shown support for pro-Palestine causes.
Following the detainment of Columbia protestor Mahmoud Khalil earlier this year, she questioned in an X post: ‘Isn’t this a violation of the First Amendment?’
She continued her antagonism on Wednesday, sharing her disapproval with how Trump’s cabinet fawned over the president for the cameras.
This also included Bondi praising Trump’s first 100 days as greater than any other in American history.
‘Mr. President, your first 100 days has far exceeded that of any other presidency in this country,’ she said. ‘Ever, ever. Never seen anything like it.’
After Coulter expressed her disapproval of Trump’s deportation efforts, she made a public u-turn earlier this month as she supported sending illegal migrants with gang affiliations to El Salvador.
‘Trump 2 is AWESOME!’ she said in a post on X.
Coulter has yo-yo’d between supporting and criticizing Trump for years, saying in 2020 that America was in a ‘national emergency’ because ‘our president is an idiot.’

The pundit who penned a book praising Trump’s 2016 campaign continued to criticize Trump for the next several months for not following through on his promise of building a border wall.
Hitting him with insults such as ‘disloyal retard’ and ‘blithering idiot,’ the author of the 2016 book said in May 2020 when asked about her about-face: ‘I will never apologize for supporting the issues that candidate Trump advocated.
‘I am deeply sorry for thinking that this shallow and broken man would show even some remote fealty to the promises that got him elected.’
Trump, meanwhile, called Coulter a ‘washed up’ pundit he ‘didn’t want around’ in September 2023, before running for president again without her support.
