Season 14 delved into frightening real-life crimes, spotlighting victims ranging from those merely caught in unfortunate circumstances to individuals targeted by a strategic murderer.
In “The Sisterhood,” Stacy Feldman wanted nothing more than a family of her own. But after marrying Robert “Bob” Feldman, having two children, and settling in the Colorado suburbs, her life took a tragic turn when she was found dead in her shower. Bob claimed his wife’s death was nothing more than an accident, but it would take a band of women to unravel the truth.
As a private investigator and former cop, Taylor Wright devoted her career to solving crimes, until she became the center of one herself, as seen in “The Necklace” episode. Wright mysteriously vanished in September of 2017, just as she was on the verge of starting a new life. As law enforcement authorities tried to figure out the disappearance, a special memento Wright often wore would be one of the clues essential to solving the case.
In “A Haunting Stretch of Road,” authorities were left to solve the baffling disappearance of Pamela Butler, a supervisor at a government agency who’d gone missing from her Washington, D.C. home. Although Butler was spotted on her surveillance cameras coming home from work on February 12, 2009, she was never captured leaving the home after that and her cars sat in the driveway. The perplexing mystery went cold for years and investigators eventually made a chilling connection to another unsolved disappearance that happened years before Butler vanished.
