CCTV footage has captured the moment several gunmen fired shots in a home in Sydney’s north-west last night.

A black Mercedes SUV was seen pulling up outside a house on Steeple Place in Marsden Park about 11pm yesterday.

Two people got out of the car before up to eight shots were fired at the home.

The majority of the bullets hit the second-floor windows.

9News understands there was nobody inside the property at the time of the shooting.

The two people seen on CCTV then got back into the SUV, which drove away from the scene.

Detectives are investigating whether a torched vehicle, found about 30 minutes later 22km away in the suburb of Girraween, was linked to the shooting.

Police set up crime scenes at both locations and investigations continue today.
