Disney to open its seventh theme park — and it’s not where you expect

Disney has announced plans to launch a theme park and resort in Abu Dhabi, marking its seventh global spot and its debut in the Middle East.

The new park will be located on Yas Island, a famous entertainment hub in the UAE that hosts major attractions like Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.

The area also boasts the Yas Marina Circuit, famous for hosting Formula 1 events.

Miral is set to fund the entire development and construction of the site, with Disney taking charge of the creative aspects through its famous imagineering team and also managing the park’s operations.
