A man from Florida, awaiting sentencing after admitting to coercing a teenage girl into signing a “sex slave contract” in 2021, is facing new charges for allegedly attempting to hire someone to kill her so she wouldn’t testify during his sentencing.

Seventy-year-old Andrew Mustapick allegedly compelled the girl to agree to being his sex slave twice a week, offering her 19-year-old friend a car in return. The girl reported the situation to the authorities, leading to Mustapick agreeing to a plea deal, with sentencing initially scheduled for June.

Information from Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers, shared with WPBF, revealed that they learned of the murder-for-hire plan targeting the girl in March. Initially, Mustapick proposed $40,000 for persuading the victim not to testify, later increasing the offer to $50,000 to have her killed before her testimony.

“His plan was to withdraw the plea deal,” Flowers said. “And then if the victim was and if the victim is no longer here, he essentially gets sentenced to nothing.”

The girl was 17 at the time, according to TC Palm. She told police that her “friend” had initially agreed to have sex with Mustapick in exchange for the car, but the friend forced her to engage with him instead. The contract required her to perform certain sex acts with him two days a week for five years. When she later stopped going to Mustapick’s house, he repossessed the car he’d bought for the “friend.”

Flowers told WPBF that Mustapick “is an absolute animal.”

“Thank you to the person who came forward,” he said. “We’re not identifying them at this time. But we would not be here today if it weren’t for that person that came forward and let us know about this.”

According to Law&Crime, a relative of Mustapick’s told police of the plot. He was arrested on May 5. According to jail records, his previous bond was revoked and he was ordered held on a $3.5 million bond on two counts of criminal solicitation.
