Israeli air raids overnight resulted in the deaths of at least 23 Palestinians in Gaza, including three children and their parents whose tent was targeted in Gaza City, according to health officials.

The attacks persisted as global concerns escalate over Israel’s intentions to manage aid distribution in Gaza, with the blockade on the area housing more than 2 million people now entering its third month.

The UN and various aid organizations have dismissed Israel’s strategies for aid distribution, which includes a proposition from an assembly of American security advisors, ex-military personnel, and humanitarian aid experts known as the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Hamas still holds about 59 hostages, with around a third believed to still be alive.

Hamas released a video on Saturday showing hostages Elkana Bohbot and Yosef-Haim Ohana, who appeared under duress.

They were abducted during the October 7 attack from a music festival where over 300 people were killed.

Hamas released a video of them a month and half ago and has released several videos of Bohbot alone since then.

Protesters on Saturday night rallied once more in Tel Aviv to demand a ceasefire that would bring all hostages home.

“Can you fathom this? The Israeli government is set to initiate a military action that could jeopardize the lives of the captives,” expressed Michel Illouz, whose son Guy Illouz is a hostage, addressing the assembly and raising concerns over the plan to significantly broaden operations in Gaza.
