CHICAGO (WLS) — The Simple Good, a nonprofit organization based in Chicago, is committed to empowering youth by offering programs that focus on social-emotional learning and mindfulness through the arts. The group is inviting everyone to participate in its 10th Annual Hunt for Good, an art scavenger hunt and community celebration happening across the city on June 28, 2025, at Willis Tower.

Centered on the principle that positivity is a universal value that unites us all, The Simple Good equips young people throughout Chicago with the means to explore, express, and convey their own interpretation of simple goodness. This initiative helps them develop emotional resilience and leadership qualities essential for their success. The Simple Good engages hundreds of students each year through transformative educational experiences based in art, storytelling, and self-reflection in both schools and community settings.

“At a time when art programs are being reduced in schools, and young people’s mental health is more fragile than ever, our work ensures students still have access to the emotional and creative tools they need to achieve success,” stated Priya Shah, the Founder and CEO of The Simple Good. “Events like Hunt for Good enable us to continue this mission while involving our larger community in the process. We are thrilled to mark a decade of rallying Chicago to discover and promote goodness throughout our city with this fundraising event!”

Hunt for Good is a unique three-hour urban scavenger hunt designed to connect participants with Chicago’s vibrant public art, culture and community while solving creative challenges across the city. Proceeds from the event directly fund The Simple Good’s Summer Youth Arts Programs, which bring social-emotional learning and mindfulness to classrooms in underserved communities throughout Chicago.

This year’s milestone event will feature a dynamic afterparty at Willis Tower’s rooftop terrace, food and drink vendor activations and community storytelling – all in support of youth discovering their voice and purpose through the arts.
