Watch: More Havoc With Protesters at Newark ICE Facility Again

Last Friday, we covered the turmoil stirred by three Democratic House representatives from New Jersey at an ICE detention center in Newark. Initially, Democrats insisted they were innocent, but the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) then released footage revealing their involvement.

DHS stated that the investigation is ongoing and that further arrests have not been dismissed. Newark’s Mayor, Ras Baraka, was among those detained during the incident.

During this time, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, one of the trio, mistakenly revealed too much. She mentioned their actions to “protect” Newark’s Mayor Ras Baraka when he faced arrest for trespassing.

It should be noted that the members of Congress were there on Friday with protesters who were also trying to get into the facility.

On Monday, protesters were out in front of the ICE facility again.

They blocked an entrance to prevent vehicles from going in and out. They must have grabbed all the old hippies in New Jersey, because this is quite something. Listen as they sing, “Fascism’s got to go!”

That’s hilarious, this is my favorite video to mock today. They don’t even know what fascism is, if they think enforcing the law is “fascism.”

Watch this lady reaching out with a sign that tells illegal aliens being transported in a van that she loves them. She even blows them kisses.

At least two ambulances tried to get in, but were unable to, according to Fox News.

The protesters condemned the detention of the people in the facility.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told Fox in response to the action, “Who do they want released from Delaney Hall? The child rapists, murderers, drug traffickers, MS-13 gang members or known terrorists?”

But as with all such protests, the situation deteriorated, and people were arrested. Notice some in keffiyehs – easy for switching to any protest.

They need to have consequences for these actions to scotch these efforts. They can’t interfere with the ability to get in and out of the facility. And anyone who assaulted a federal officer in either of these incidents has to be held accountable.
