Janet Caperna slams Danny Booko for calling her "toxic" on 'WWHL': "Somebody who's toxic is somebody who puts their hands on women without consent"

The drama between Janet Caperna and Danny Booko carried over into the Tuesday night (May 20) broadcast of Watch What Happens Live. This followed a conflict with Nia Sanchez Booko regarding Danny’s drinking on the recent episode of The Valley.

Janet appeared in the Bravo Clubhouse with her husband, Jason Caperna, where she addressed Danny’s earlier statement labeling her as the most “toxic” member of the cast.

“I felt that was a bit extreme, and to me, someone toxic is a person who touches women without their consent,” she said. “I believe he’s responding to my reaction towards him.”

“Darkside Danny” has been a topic of conversation in recent episodes of The Valley, with Jasmine Goode revealing that he got blackout drunk on Halloween and inappropriately touched her and her fiancée Melissa Marie at Jax’s Studio City. While Danny apologized for his actions, some of the cast accused him of not changing his habits after he drank too much on a trip to Santa Barbara and fell asleep before dinner. Janet even claimed that she caught him taking shots of “warm tequila” in the pantry when no one else was looking.

Danny’s drinking led to an even bigger conversation among the girls in the group when they accused Nia of not being truthful about the hardships in her marriage. The former pageant queen admitted that they don’t like to air out their dirty laundry and would rather keep most of their troubles behind closed doors.

When DECIDER caught up with Nia last month, she promised that her marriage is in a healthy place.

“At the end of the day, Daniel and I are good,” she said. “Like, we are solid in our relationship and I’ve always told him before we ever joined the reality TV world, ‘That’s most important. As long as our relationship is solid and we feel confident in who we are as individual people and together, then we’re good to go. But if not, then we need to reassess the conversation.’ So we are good and we’re happy.”

She added, “All we can do is just be ourselves and people can have their opinions and that’s their right to have an opinion, but we know who we are and that’s all we could do is show up fully as ourselves. So, people will see and they can decide for themselves if they like who we are or not, but it’s just truly just 100% who we are.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
