(WHTM) — Thousands of infant pajamas that were sold exclusively by Macy’s have been recalled over injury concerns.

Approximately 16,300 Holiday Lane Infant Footed Pajamas have been recalled due to concerns that the elastic around the ankles may be excessively tight, potentially restricting blood flow and posing a risk of injury, as stated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

So far, Macy’s has received four reports about the excessively tight elastic on infants’ ankles, leading to issues such as chafing, indentations, or restricted blood circulation.

The pajamas in question were available for purchase at Macy’s locations across the country, at Macy’s Backstage, and online at www.macys.com from March 2024 to January 2025, retailing for approximately $27.

The following pajamas are included in this recall:

Product Name: PID/Style Number:
Holiday Lane Infant Merry Mix It Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama 100189404
Holiday Lane Infant Family Plaid Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama 100191005

Consumers should stop using the recalled pajamas right away. If you have the items, you’re advised not to return them to a Macy’s store in-person. Instead, you can contact Macy’s for instructions on how to receive a refund.

To properly return the recalled pajamas, you can fill out a form online.

If you have any questions, you can call Macy’s from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Mondays-Fridays at (833) 408-0501 or by visiting the official Holiday Lane Infant Cotton Footed Pajamas recall website. You can also visit the Macy’s product recalls page.
