DENVER (KDVR) There were scarce details Sunday night of a possible lightning strike on a plane that landed at Denver International Airport.

The flight, a Southwest flight from Jacksonville, Florida, landed in Denver at about 8:44 p.m. on Sunday. Officials at the airport said they had received reports of a plane struck by lightning and that emergency crews responded as is standard protocol.

The plane ultimately made it safely to the gate, and no injuries were reported.

The plane’s scheduled destination was confirmed to be DIA.

Neither the airport nor Southwest immediately provided affiliate KDVR with information on whether the strike took out the plane’s communication instruments, the number of passengers and crew onboard the flight and if there was a need for an emergency response.
