Update: Wild Twists in Case of Illegal Immigrant Accused of Writing Letter Threatening Trump

Naturally, credible threats to the life of the leader of the free world should be taken very seriously by federal law enforcement officials.

This concern is even more pronounced when discussing President Donald Trump, who encountered two assassination attempts during the summer of 2024 while running as the GOP nominee. The first attempt was especially close, as a bullet skimmed Trump’s ear. In the second incident, fortunately, the suspect was unable to fire a weapon.

According to a report by RedState on Wednesday, ICE agents apprehended an undocumented immigrant in Wisconsin earlier this month. The suspect was accused of sending them a letter that included threats to assassinate Trump. The individual, 54-year-old Ramon Morales Reyes, allegedly outlined his frustrations in the letter over Trump’s deportation policies, which he claimed affected his family members.
