The attack is said to have targeted pro-Israel protesters outside the Pearl Street Mall.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn says many of the victims reported injuries consistent with burns to their skin.

It is unclear what weapons were used.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared on social media: “Our agents, along with local law enforcement, are already at the scene, and we will provide updates as further details emerge.”

Boulder Police have evacuated several blocks around the mall.

A suspect has been arrested “without incident” and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment on his burns, cops said.
