Shiloh Jolie had debuted her new name during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles, Calif., earlier this week.
The daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appeared at the launch of designer Isabel Marant’s capsule collection with Net-A-Porter on Thursday, where she introduced her new name, having famously dropped the “Pitt” surname in 2024.
Shiloh, who served as the choreographer of one of the dance numbers during the glitzy invite-only event, was listed as “Shi Joli” on the credits.
Her new name shortens her legal name and serves as a clear nod to her famous mom.
The 19-year-old presented a recital featuring dancers Tako Suzuki and Keoni Rose, with a performance of “Naïve” by singer Luella accompanying the act.
The exclusive dinner took place at Schindler’s Oliver House in Silver Lake, near LA, with celebrities such as Alison Brie, January Jones, and Rachel Bilson in attendance.
The Post has reached out to Pitt’s reps for comment.
The teen made headlines last year after legally requesting to drop her father’s last name on her 18th birthday in May 2024.
The request was granted by a judge in August 2024, prompting Shiloh to be legally known as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
It’s believed that she did not seek any help from the “Maleficent” actress throughout the process.
âShiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesnât know and canât speak for it,â a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
In July, Shilohâs attorney Peter Levine told Page Six in part that she made âan independent and significant decision following painful eventsâ in dropping âPittâ from her last name.
Shiloh isn’t the only child in her family that has decided to sever ties with the “Fight Club” actor through a legal name change.
In the lead-up to Pitt and Jolie finalizing their divorce in December 2024 following a messy 8-year battle, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 20, also decided to switch-up her moniker.
At Spelman Collegeâs Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony in 2023, she proudly announced her name — âZahara Marley Jolieâ — as captured in a video that later spread across social media.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed Shiloh’s sister Vivienne dropped her dadâs surname in âThe Outsidersâ Playbill in May 2024.
The dancer â who helped mom Jolie produce the Broadway play â was reportedly listed as âVivienne Jolieâ in the magazine for theatergoers.
What’s more, a source claimed to Us Weekly in 2021 that Pitt and Jolie’s eldest child, Maddox, âdoesnât use Pitt as his last name on documents that arenât legal and instead uses Jolie.”
The “Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood” actor, 61, and Jolie, 49, welcomed Shiloh in May 2006, and her twin siblings Knox and Vivienne in July 2008.
Pitt officially adopted Jolieâs adopted children Maddox, 23, and Zahara in 2005, and Pax, 21, in 2006.
The “World War Z” actor was said to have been âaware and upsetâ that Shiloh had legally dropped his last name.
âHeâs never felt more joy than when she was born,â a source told People in 2024. âHe always wanted a daughter.â
âThe reminders that heâs lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. Itâs very sad.â
Last month, Pitt broke his silence on finalizing his divorce from Jolie.
âNo, I donât think it was that major of a thing,â the âF1â star told GQ. âJust something coming to fruition. Legally.â
Pitt also acknowledged that his âpersonal life is always in the news.â
âItâs been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, letâs put it that way,â he said.
âItâs been an annoyance Iâve had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,â Pitt continued of his celebrity status. âSo, itâs always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I donât know. I donât know.
âMostly I feel pretty ⦠My life is fairly contained,â he shared. âIt feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, itâs like this fly buzzing around a little bit.â
