Boogie burglar dances like nobody's watching before break-in

A lively thief put on a dance performance for the cameras just before breaking into a school, where he allegedly stole equipment worth thousands, according to authorities.

It’s believed a man driving a silver Holden Commodore drove into the car park of a school in Sunbury, Victoria, at about 1.10am on April 23.

Captured by CCTV, the man enthusiastically danced after exiting his vehicle.

Following his impromptu show, he proceeded to burglarize the school, making off with three laptops and a projector.

Police estimated the value of the gear at more than $5000.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, with a medium build and long, dark brown hair.

He was wearing a red and black hooded jumper, black running shoes, red headband, and blue gloves.

Police have released CCTV of the incident.
