Authorities in Indiana have detained a woman for her suspected involvement in the overdose death of a 39-year-old male. His body was discovered inside a tanning bed three days after he had gone into a Planet Fitness gym.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) stated in a press release that Heather Bradford, aged 41, was taken into custody. She faces charges for distributing a controlled substance that led to a death, possession of narcotics, along with two outstanding warrants in Morgan County, Indiana.

Police responded to Planet Fitness just before 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11 after receiving a report that a body had been discovered in the gym.

The deceased man was identified by the Marion County Coroner’s Office as Derek Sink. As per police records viewed by 13 News, Sink’s family last communicated with him on November 8 and reported him as missing on November 10.
