Michelle Obama Is Back, Complains About Her Time As First Lady in New Book

Penguin Random House has issued a statement via Crown Publishing Group about Michelle Obama’s upcoming book, “The Look.” This publication promises a captivating exploration of Michelle Obama’s style journey, presented in her own voice for the first time. It celebrates her fashion evolution starting from her appearances during her husband’s U.S. Senate race, through her tenure as the first Black First Lady, and into her current status as an influential public figure. In this narrative, Michelle Obama illustrates how she leverages fashion’s allure to highlight and communicate her message.

In her commentary within the book, Michelle Obama notes that confidence is not something that can be simply donned. However, when you wear clothes that are chosen with intention or hold personal value, they can empower you to present your best self.

“The Look is about more than fashion. It’s about Confidence. It’s about identity. It’s about the power of authenticity. My hope is that this book sparks conversation and reflection about the ways we see ourselves — and the way our society defines beauty,” it continued.

In a post on social media, the former first lady promoted the book and wrote:

My new book, The Look, comes out on November 4. It’s a reflection on my lifelong journey with fashion, hair, and beauty. Inside, you’ll find some of the outfits that have meant the most to me, but more importantly, the moments that I lived through in them — big and small, personal and political, historic and ordinary — that were as memorable as the clothes themselves.

Okay, enough of that nonsense. Let’s take a trip back to reality, Mrs. Obama. I lived through those eight years, and I just remember the gushing and fawning about every single thing the former first lady did, said, or wore.

Who can forget that the former first lady appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine not once but three times, with glowing feature cover stories? Yes, she clearly had a rough time in the White House. It’s not like the treatment First Lady Melania Trump has dealt with after appearing on zero Vogue covers during her time in the White House to date.

RedState has said it before: “Something is seriously wrong with Michelle Obama,” who uses her podcast to play the victim even though she’s not.

On the former first lady’s struggling podcast, she airs dirty laundry about her husband, former President Barack Obama, complains about how expensive it was to live in the White House, and how racist America is.

Bonchie wrote that:

The Obamas are currently estimated to be worth around $70 million. America has been extremely kind to them. There is nothing for Michelle Obama to be complaining about. She could be expressing her gratitude to a country that allows anyone to succeed, presenting herself as an inspirational figure for future generations. Instead, she continues to sow division and discord, painting a picture of her life that doesn’t begin to match reality.

Perhaps the former first lady should try touching grass. She can easily do so by walking out the front door of her massive mansion on Martha’s Vineyard. Perspective is a valuable thing, and Michelle Obama has completely lost any semblance of it.
