A widely purchased frozen food product from IKEA outlets across Australia has been withdrawn from sale because it may contain bits of black rubber.

Food Standards Australia has issued a warning that consuming the SLAGVERK breaded wheat-based pieces could lead to health issues.

The product in question was available in 500g packages, marked with a best before date of 19-08-2025 and carries the IKEA product number 205.588.94
